THE ART OF PRESERVATION
A hand-knitted garment is a living piece of art.
With the right care, the mohair and wool will only grow softer and more storied with time.

Refreshing & Reviving
Often, a simple airing out in the crisp morning air is all a natural fibre needs to regain its shape and scent.
To quickly refresh your knit and lift the pile, place the garment in a dryer for only two to three minutes on a very low or dedicated ‘Wool’ setting. This gently removes odours and raises the fibres beautifully to restore that signature "halo" look while getting rid of any loose hairs.
Fine Mohair & Silk Care
For designs worked in this yarn, when a deeper clean is required, a gentle hand-wash in lukewarm water with a pH-neutral wool silk detergent is essential.
Do not agitate. Rinse thoroughly and gently squeeze out excess water by rolling in a towel. Machine washing and full drying cycles are strictly out of the question.
Efficient Drying Method
For hand-washed items, we recommend laying them flat on Polystyrene (Isomo) panels rather than a towel. The structure of these panels allows for better air circulation, ensuring a much quicker and safer drying process. Keep knit items away from direct sunlight or heat sources when drying.
The Longhair Mohair Care
Due to the significant loft and volume of the luxurious Longhair Mohair yarn these pieces should not be washed at home. The weight of the water can compromise the shape of the garment. Professional dry cleaning only for these specific designs!
Grooming
To maintain the dramatic effect of the Longhair fibres, occasionally shake the garment or gently lift the pile with a soft-bristled brush.  Simple gestures to restore the signature "halo" and keep the piece looking brand new.
Storage
To prevent stretching the shape, never hang your knits. Store them folded in a cool, dry place.
